Payton Walker, RD, LDN, MS, MBA

Payton Walker, RD, LDN, MS, MBA

Payton is a Knoxville, Tennessee-based registered dietitian nutritionist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Business Administration from Bryan College as well as a Master of Science from Indiana State University. Her experience includes clinical dietetics in the hospital setting, working with a variety of patients including diabetes, kidney disease, heart health, weight management and more. Additionally, she has experience in community nutrition creating and teaching nutrition lessons to children, college students, and adults. Payton is passionate about the relationship between physical and mental health and is an ambassador for creating awareness of the need for self-care, something we commonly neglect in today's culture.

Payton always knew she wanted to make a difference, to help people. Her compassion was the driving factor that led me to choose psychology for an undergraduate degree. Over the course of her studies, she fell in love with the human mind, how it works and what influences people to become who we are today. She also unexpectedly discovered a new passion for nutrition during college. After seeing the impact that proper nutrition had on the way she felt and performed volleyball, she realized she had found a way to truly help people practically. With the realization that we all eat every day and should not eat to survive, but instead to thrive, Payton had determined her course. She went on to earn her M.S. in Business Administration from Bryan College and M.S. in Dietetics from Indiana State University. Her desire is to see people become motivated and equipped to live out their full healthy potential, no matter what challenges they face.
